The current location of Status Nightclub was founded originally as Club 2929 in 1981. Current owner Saverio purchased the club in 1991 and renamed it Nite Magic. Renovations were completed in 1995 and relaunched as Club Rio. The club was then renamed to Impact Nightclub in 1999 and then Boomers in 2004. Coming full circle the club was then renamed to Club 2929 in 2010 and finally Status Nightclub in 2016 as it stands today.
